Ramona Carraro
"Since 2004 Ramona has been taking innovative and exciting images of
artists, events and performers in the diverse and exciting world of
Theatre, Music, Festivals and Television.
Ramona travelled with Theatre companies across Europe as a child and
having grown up in an environment surrounded by these performance arts
Ramona is at home amongst the busy and often challenging world of the
performer, able to professionally capture special moments without
impeding the performance itself.
Since graduating in 2006 with a BA (hons) in Media Arts Ramona has
applied this skill to the other facets of her work in portraiture,
clubs, festivals, workshops and weddings.
Her passion is photographing events and live performance, but she also loves capturing the performers pre performance. Taking beautiful portraits showing off their costumes and make up. This is some thing she likes to re create in her staged portraiture photography.
Using professional hair and make up stylists, vintage costumes,
locations, sets, props and lighting Ramona creates individual,
flattering and inspiring portraits. Ramona has produced portraits
which enhance the natural beauty of her models, show hidden depth,
interpret the alter egos and accentuate the personalities in her
subjects."
